Ultrasound is a non-invasive, and painless exam that produces pictures of the inside of the body using sound waves. Ultrasound images are captured in real-time, so they are able to show the structure and movement of the body’s internal organs.

Ultrasound imaging, also called ultrasound scanning or sonography, involves the use of a small transducer and ultrasound gel that gets placed directly on the skin. Sound waves are transmitted from the transducer, through the gel, and into the body. The transducer collects the sound waves that bounced back and a computer then uses those sound waves to generate an image

Ultrasound does not use ionizing radiation, so there is no radiation exposure to the patient or baby. Over 30 years of extensive studies have proven that ultrasound does not cause any harm to the mother or baby.

3D only comes with images. In 4D you will see your baby’s features as well as his/hers first movements.

As early as 6 weeks via our SneakPeek Gender DNA Test. As early as 13 to 14 weeks via ultrasound.

We recommend between 26-32 weeks.

If scheduled an appointment for 3D4D drink a lot of water the week of appointment. The amniotic fluid is key to get good pictures.
